Day Four: God's Desire for Righteousness

The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
--Psalm 33:5
 
Holy Lord God, All the earth is filled with Your glory and beauty, and your majesty fills the heavens.  In Your glory You also declare that You desire Your people to long for righteousness.  You love obedience and long for us to seek You and Your righteousness, O God.  This day, may Americans earnestly desire righteousness.  May we hunger to do good in Your eyes, to honor Your ways and to obey You in all things, particularly as we consider those for whom we will vote this fall. 

Stir up a hunger for righteousness in our nation, O God.  Bring revival to America as we prepare to cast our votes this fall.  Let each one determine to seek You and your righteousness as they cast their vote. Amen
