Day Thirty-One: For Candidates Who Will Inspire Bi-Partisan Cooperation Among Members of Congress

How good and pleasant it is  when brothers live together in unity!

Holy God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit!  How wonderfully You dwell and work together O awesome Three in One!  You model for us the beauty of oneness as You work in Your Kingdom in complete and perfect unity.  You love to see Your children mimic Your oneness and accord. 

As we pray for new, God-led leaders in the coming elections, we ask that they will be leaders who inspire unity and cooperation between all factions and interests in our nation.  Give us leaders who can reach into all political parties, belief systems and contingents in our nation so we may be united in You to serve Your highest purposes in the world.  Amen.
