Day Twenty Nine: For Candidates to Worship Regularly and Have a Sound Church Experience

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Loving God, I praise You that You have made us with a need for fellowship—fellowship with You and fellowship with each other.  Thank You for answering this deepest need of our hearts with the gift of the Church.

Today I ask that the candidates running for office in our country will grow in their commitment to the local church.  May they long for the sweet fellowship of Your people, and may they make worship and fellowship with their congregation a priority in their lives, today and in the years to come.  Amen.
