Day Twenty Seven: For Candidates Who Will Surround Themselves with Godly, Wise Counsel

For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure.

Mighty God, all praise to You today for Your goodness, Your might and Your supreme wisdom.  Thank You for choosing to live in us through Jesus Christ.  Thank You for making us one in You. 

Today, I pray for the candidates running for office, thanking You that You have surrounded each with advisers who consult with them on matters of great importance.  O God, may the candidates and those who advise them be schooled in the habit of consulting with You on all things.  Let them turn to You at a moment’s notice to ask for wisdom and understanding as they lead.  Amen.
